Rules for life in the classroom

How are we going to live, to work and learn together?

These class rules explain our pupils' rights and duties. They help us to understand better what is allowed and what is not allowed at school.

Article 1:

We have the right to be respected and the duty to respect others.

(Listen to eachother, not interrupt others, not swear, not laugh at others, not fight...)

Article 2:

We have the right to have school equipment in the class for working and the duty to respect it.

(Take care of our school equipment and that belonging to the class, not rock on our chair, not do swaps with others...)

Article 3:

We have the right to learn in good conditions and the duty to let the class work.

(Move around quietly, raise our hand to speak, whisper to our neighbor, not let our watch beep...)

Article 4:

We have the right to go to school to learn and the duty to work to our best.

(Be on time, listen to instructions, learn our lessons, look after our work...)

Article 5:

We have the right to be helped and the duty to help others (but not in tests).

(Share what we know and ask when we need help, help eachother, work together...)

Article 6:

We have the right to be safe at school and the duty not to put others in danger.

(Not be violent towards others, not bring dangerous objects, not steal, not play or run in the corridors...)

Article 7:

We have the right to express ourselves and the duty to listen to adults.

(Not answer back, be polite...)

If I do not respect these rules, I can be :

Isolated a few moments from my friends,

Forbidden to use some equipment or a game,

Obliged to repair the mistake that I made,

Made to copy the articles that I do not respect,

My parents can be summoned to school.

If I respect these rules :

I gain trust from others,

I work in good conditions,

I progress.
